  • Culture & sensitivity testing for bacterial and fungal infections
  • TB diagnostics including Ziehl-Neelsen smear and CBNAAT/GeneXpert
  • Serology for viral infections — HIV, HBV, HCV, dengue, malaria
  • Antimicrobial resistance surveillance programme

The Department of Microbiology at BHRI is equipped for culture, identification, and sensitivity testing of bacterial, fungal, and parasitic pathogens. Serology, virology, and mycobacteriology services support clinical management of infectious diseases across all departments.
